Many of the republics established by the Bolsheviks' supporters did not see themselves outside Russia both. Nevertheless, Bolshevik Party leaders typically mainly drove them out of Soviet Russia for various causes. The incorporation of the western Russian lands into the only state was not merely the result of political and diplomatic choices.
